WAIYS is a Norwegian-German AI SaaS company making advanced artificial intelligence practical for the real estate industry. We’re entering an exciting scale-up phase and are looking for a hands-on leader who combines deep technical understanding with strong operational and administrative leadership.

This is a pivotal role on the leadership team, working closely with the CEO, CTO and CPO. You will drive project management excellence, build scalable operational frameworks, and bring administrative rigor that prepares the organization for rapid growth – with a clear and supported pathway to expanded COO responsibilities for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical & Delivery Leadership – Support and evolve our technical vision and architecture together with C-level. Oversee the software development lifecycle from a project management and customer delivery perspective, ensuring quality, reliability and efficient scaling.

• Operational Excellence – Establish and continuously improve operational processes, delivery frameworks, tools and internal systems. Drive resource planning, capacity management, KPIs and build repeatable, scalable playbooks that support both platform growth and high-value custom engagements.

• Administrative Leadership & Governance – Own tool selection, standardization, compliance (security & certifications), documentation standards and cross-functional coordination. Bring the administrative discipline that enables predictable, high-quality operations.

• Commercial Alignment – Support tech sales and client onboarding. Bring commercial awareness to technology and operational decisions – understanding how choices impact pricing, delivery models and revenue goals.

• Strategic Leadership & Culture – Act as a trusted partner to the leadership team on company strategy and scaling priorities. Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement while preparing the organization operationally for its next growth phase.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven senior leader with experience in AI/software/SaaS companies (PropTech or complex B2B domain experience is a strong advantage).

• Strong commercial acumen – you understand how technology decisions influence business outcomes.

• Hands-on leadership style: comfortable with both strategic direction and rolling up your sleeves to build processes and drive execution.

• Experience establishing or significantly improving operational frameworks, tools and internal administration in a growing organization.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical/non-technical audiences and cultures.
