Senior AI Application Engineer

WAIYS GmbH develops an energy-efficient AI platform based on AI systems for real-time interaction with robots and autonomous solutions. Furthermore, WAIYS offers engineering services for AI software and AI hardware. WAIYS also manufactures liquid-cooled container solutions for high-performance data centers.

Your Tasks​

  • Co-management of AI Unit: Collaborate with the Head and other engineers to ensure the smooth functioning of the AI unit, actively contributing to strategic decisions and key initiatives.

  • Project work: Actively participate in various projects, leveraging your expertise to contribute to the growth and success of the AI business unit.

  • AI research and networking: Stay on top of the latest AI advancements, technologies, and industry experts, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation.

  • IP development: Develop, manage, and secure the Intellectual Property (IP) of WAIYS GmbH, ensuring that our innovations are protected.

  • AI solutions development: Lead the conceptualization, development, integration, and evaluation of AI solutions and applications.

  • Demonstrator management: Oversee the development, integration, and evaluation of AI demonstrators.

  • Represent WAIYS GmbH on the international stage by sharing insights and advancements in AI technology, contributing to the global conversation on innovation.​​

 

​Your Profile

  • MSc or Dipl.-Ing. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related computationally intensive field

  • Excellent programming knowledge and development experience in Python and C/C++, including proficiency in data structures, diagrams, and object-oriented programming

  • Excellent understanding of machine learning and pre-processing algorithms; experience in neuromorphic computing is a plus

  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and in a structured manner

  • Fluent in English

  • Interest in sustainable solutions and green technology
